Prior to founding her own company, Susan was publicity and promotion manager at Bantam and Seal Books for four and a half years. In 1985 she started her own company and since then has been involved with hundreds of marketing and publicity campaigns for a variety of literary and corporate projects. Over the years, she has developed a keen sense of what makes projects successful and how to wring the most from the least. During her salad days, Susan studied drama in England and acted in repertory theatre across Britain as well as being a member of Candida Players, headed by well-known actor/manager George Baker. Her other full time job from May to September involves cooking for and running the tea-room at SpindleTree Gardens, catering to tourists who visit the six acres of pleasure gardens surrounding her home near Kingston, Ontario.
